Hard Work

Having to work may feel
tedious and draining at first
(kaya nga hard work, eh!),
but you'll eventually realize
that there's a sense of dignity and fulfillment
in seeing the work of your hands
and in reaping the fruits of your labor.

It's giving #adulting,
but I do hope that my students
will get to appreciate the importance
of having to work hard
in order to get the things that they want
(or perhaps need!),
without relying too much on others.
