We hold dear
those people, places, and things
that are close to our heart.
That is why we treat them with utmost care.
This is the very essence of stewardship:
caring and protecting
for something or someone precious,
with the hope that others would feel the love, appreciate the value,
and have a greater appreciation
of everything that we cherish.
God loves us and cares for us—
we, then, should go and do likewise.
